ABOUT DAMI
Welcome to Disability Awareness Ministries, Inc.
DAMI is an ecumenical and interfaith non-profit agency. We work with faith communities to help them be welcoming, accessible and inclusive of people with disabilities. We believe communities of faith working together can make a difference to promote inclusion.
Mission
Mission: Remove barriers that exclude people with disabilities and their families from full participation in the faith coummunity of their choice
Goals
Raise awareness about accessibility and inclusion in faith-based communities
Educate and train clergy and staff of local faith communities
Promote disability awareness at faith-based conferences and special events
Consult with faith-based institutions on special projects that increase accessibility
